Dr. Scarito is a specialist in internal medicine who has been in practicing medicine in York since 1996. Born in Boston, she was raised in Potomac, MD, but then returned to Massachusetts to attend M.I.T. where she earned SB and SM degrees in Chemical Engineering. Dr. Scarito worked in the chemical industry for 13 years before deciding to pursue interests in industrial and emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Following graduation, she completed a residency in internal medicine at York Hospital and was board certified in internal medicine in 1995. Dr. Scarito currently provides general internal medicine care to patients above the age of 15. She is married to Phil Scarito, also a chemical engineer, and has an adult son who is an electrical engineer.
